Questions builders ask

Do you work as a subcontractor to general contractors?

Yes. Most of our commercial volume is sub work for GCs on tenant improvements and small commercial builds. We carry our own licence, WCB coverage and liability insurance, and we supply the certificates with the bid rather than three weeks after you ask.

How do you keep inspections from failing?

City of Calgary records show roughly one in seven electrical inspections fails on the first attempt, and a failure costs a return trip plus whatever your schedule slides. We price the work to pass: correct conductor sizing, proper bonding, and a self-check against the deficiencies inspectors actually write up before we book the inspection.

Can you hold a schedule?

We quote against your construction schedule, not a general availability window, and we tell you before we bid if we cannot staff the dates. If our part slips, you hear it from us the day it slips rather than the day it matters.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes — permits are pulled under our contractor licence and we are on site for the inspection. You get the permit number up front and the closed permit at the end.

What size projects do you take?

From a single-circuit service call at a managed property up to full tenant improvements and small commercial builds. If a job is genuinely beyond our crew size, we will say so and point you at someone who can staff it.

Something down at a site you manage?

Parkade lighting out, a tenant with no power, a panel that tripped and will not reset. Call the same number as the homeowners do — it reaches an electrician, not a queue.
