AmpCity Electric runs out of Calgary, doing residential service work in the morning and commercial fit-outs in the afternoon. That mix is deliberate. Houses keep us honest about workmanship people have to live with; job sites keep us fast, and keep us fluent in the code and the paperwork that inspections turn on.
We are small enough that the person who quotes your job is on site while it happens, and large enough to hold a construction schedule. If we cannot staff your dates, you hear that before you award the work rather than after.
Every permit is pulled under our contractor licence. That is not a courtesy — it means the inspection, the deficiencies and the liability are ours. A homeowner or a GC holding a permit for someone else’s electrical work is holding a problem.
How we price and how we work
- The quote is the price
- Flat pricing on scoped work. If we find something inside a wall that genuinely changes the job, we stop and show you before we touch it.
- One trade, not three
- Power, data and control wiring pulled together on the same visit, so you are not coordinating three subs through the same ceiling.
- We clean up
- Drywall dust contained, holes patched to paint-ready where we made them, and the panel directory filled in properly before we leave.
